I personally loathe the heavy machine gun, but I cannot argue its sheer enemy-killing power. This isn’t a front-lines weapon, and shouldn’t be used as primary offense. The heavy machine gun is best used in a party environment, and used to provide cover fire for the rest of the team. Typically, using this gun simply requires it to be on and shooting at the correct time, so winding up and firing as you round a corner is always a good idea. Flight works well with the HMG on open maps.
 

Normal Use- Heavy Machine Gun hits substantial damage, but not much higher than the submachine gun.  Since spread is intense, this weapon lacks the accuracy to be used at great ranges.  Never fall for the guise of long-ranged fighting, switch to the semi-rifle.  Spray the enemy team at the beginning of Touch Down matches, cover the fumbi, or come in behind a wave of teammates in Death Match.  Aim for the upper body if possible, as it only takes three critical shots to kill an enemy.  After using this weapon, you can easilly realize how quickly three bullets fire.
 

Power user- Confident with your ability to use this weapon?  Try to get behind enemy lines, and spray into their backs for increased damage.  Use skills along with the gun.  Experiment!  I personally found that flight works very well in populated TD matches, for a well-armed aerial assault on the enemy base.
 

Ranged fighting: Avoid this at all costs. This weapon is an extremely poor performer at any sort of range. The maximum range I would apply this weapon is from the openings on either side of central Station-1. From one side or another already nullifies any accuracy, and greater ranges, such as the expanse of Station-2, just isn’t worth the trouble.
