Clothing Stat Issues

As many people know, the stat labels on upgraded clothing are rather misleading. This wasn’t done intentionally, but was simply a poor translation between the Korean and English versions of the game. I will classify the clothing categories (As displayed) with the weapons they actually defend against. I will also discuss and define what the other clothing stats do.

First is “Launch WP Def.”. This sounds like any weapon that would launch a player. However, this simply isn’t true. This stat offers defense against weapons that shoot physical bullets, it seems. Perhaps launch pertains to the launching of bullets? Anyways, this stat defends from the Submachine gun, Semi-Rifle, and Revolver. I believe it to defend against Heavy Machine Gun as well, but I wouldn’t advise this as a reason to buy the clothing, as it is difficult to test. I will update if I can prove for or against. “Launch WP Def. (Head)” is the same, providing a small amount of extra protection against these guns when the enemy is aiming for critical shots.

Second is “Shooting WP Def.” I believe they meant long-range shooting, or perhaps simply sniping. This category simply pertains to sniping guns. Cannonade and Railgun.

Finally, “Close-Range WP Def.” Unlike the others, this one makes sense. It involves melee weapons, and covers the Sword, Counter-Sword, and Storm Bat.

The other stats are rather straightforward. SP+ adds SP points, and can be found as an option along with EXP +10% on face styles and Accessories. Gloves and Shoes allow for only one option, and that is +3 hp. This is a minor amount, but can save you from a stray shot at low hp, or mid-charged headshots with the Railgun. On shirts, a +4 stat can be selected for any of the current weapons. This slightly amplifies damage, though numbers seem to vary slightly per weapon. The Semi-Rifle hits an additional 8 damage with a single round of headshots against another player, though. This is the only figure I have, but it proves the minor damage increase. This may be useful for countering opposing player’s defense, or for dealing a killing strike slightly quicker.
