- Create a folder under a directory of your choice
- Right click on the folder and go to properties

- Under the sharing tab, highlight and select the selection that says “Share this folder” Enter in a valid name for the share to be displayed as and hit apply

- Next, we will enable permissions to everyone that we wish to have access to the share via the network. {Note to share it openly to all… (in a very very trusted and small environment) you would modify “Everyone” to have access and full control to everything} But, in our case, we will press Add..

- Once you press add, the user dialog box will appear, being typing in the name of the user and hit Check Names

I was looking in the tutorials hoping to find something on Sharing a Folder using Linux!
