Sharing a Folder

Create a folder under a directory of your choice
Right click on the folder and go to properties
Under the sharing tab, highlight and select the selection that says “Share this folder” Enter in a valid name for the share to be displayed as and hit apply
Next, we will enable permissions to everyone that we wish to have access to the share via the network. {Note to share it openly to all… (in a very very trusted and small environment) you would modify “Everyone” to have access and full control to everything} But, in our case, we will press Add..
Once you press add, the user dialog box will appear, being typing in the name of the user and hit Check Names
