Installing Printers on Active Directory
- On the server go to Control Panel and then Add Printer or Fax
- When the wizard appears, Select Local Printer and Click Next
- Select Create a new port and select TCP/IP Click Next
- Click Next
- Select the device as Generic, Click Next
- Add a name, and enter in the rest of the information to the printer, Click Finish
- To Add the Printer on a Client machine:
- Go to Printers and Faxes > Add
- Browse for a printer by selecting find and then searching; if you are authenticated to the domain on the server you just configured, the printer will appear, select it and press ok; you will now be able to print to it!
